Another great American Independence day! So far today has been a great 4th of July.

Now I’m not saying that these things are un-american, but it’s interesting to think about the role that nationalism plays in today’s world. The idea that buying American is the only way to support America is an idea that has less truth than it has in our parents’ generation. An interesting idea that might be worth talking about more, but right now, it’s time for an American beer, and some fireworks.

Probably more american than my Thai ;-)
Katie and I took a road trip along the west coast up the 101... we stopped by the space needle while in Seattle, and thought it looks nice an patriotic with the American flag. I should have looked you up when we passed through...
Bummer. Would have been good to see you. The weather was beautiful that week.
